Posted in : Healthy Food on by : Garima
I’m obsessed with chia seeds pudding and I prefer to have this at my breakfast. It keeps me full for long time because of the huge amount of fibre content in it and I feel energised for the whole day.
This is super easy to make and can help in weight loss.
Whenever we have desserts, we always end up with consuming lots of refined sugar and eventually face weight gain. But this chia seeds pudding recipe can be a good alternative for your unhealthy desserts.
Have you tried it before? If not, then you should try it. You can use any non dairy milk in this recipe like coconut milk, almond milk. soy milk and use honey as a sweetener. You can skip the sweetener if you feel the natural sweetener of fruit is enough.
HEALTH BENEFITS:
- Vegan, Gluten free and Keto
- Loaded with micronutrients, fibre and Omega-3 fatty acid
- Good source of protein, calcium and antioxidants
- Lowers blood sugar and reduces cholesterol
- Improves digestion and helps in weight loss
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tsp CHIA SEEDS
- 1/2 cup COCONUT MILK/ ALMOND MILK
- 1/2 tsp HONEY (Optional)
- ANY FRUIT (I’m using Orange)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Take 1/2 cup of milk and add 2 tsp chia seeds in it. Seeds will not get incorporated in milk at the beginning. It will take some time to attain the thick consistency.
- Let it rest for 20 minutes and after 20 minutes check the consistency. You’ll find chia seeds have started incorporated into the milk. Stir well and mix chia seeds properly in milk. No lump should be left.
- Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours.
- Add honey to it ( i skipped honey in it) and then topped it with your favourite seasonal fruit. I’m using my favourite oranges here.
- Healthy and delicious chia pudding is ready.
