  • 2 – 3 tsp Breadcrumbs or roasted Chickpea Flour (for binding)
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • 2 – 3 tsp fresh coriander or parsley, chopped

  • 1 small boiled Potato, mashed – adds softness and holds the patties together well
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds – adds a nutty flavor and a pleasant crunch

Step 1: Mash the Chickpeas

  • Start by mashing the chickpeas in a large bowl using a fork, potato masher, or even a food processor.

  • You should get around 6 to 8 patties depending on size.

  • Place the patties in the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crisp.
