Coriander Leaves Chutney, also known as Dhaniya Chutney, is a vibrant green condiment that adds a burst of freshness to any Indian meal. Packed with the bold flavors of Coriander and Green Chilies, this Chutney is not just delicious but also incredibly versatile.

  • 1 bunch or 170 Grams fresh Coriander Leaves (weighed before chopping)
  • 4 Green Chilies (adjust to spice preference)
  • 1 big piece of Ginger (about 1 inch), peeled and chopped
  • 4 Tomatoes, cut into halves or quarters
  • 1 ½ tsp Salt (adjust as needed)
  • ½ tsp Black Salt
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Amchoor (Dry Mango Powder)
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ½ tsp Chaat Masala

1. Prepare the ingredients:

  • Roughly chop the Coriander Leaves and wash properly .
  • Wash Tomatoes, Ginger and Green Chillies also to remove the dirt.
  • Cut the Tomatoes into halves or quarters.
  • Peel and chop the Ginger.

2. Blend Everything:

  • In a blender or chutney grinder, add Coriander Leaves, Green Chilies, Tomatoes, Ginger, and Spices; Salt, Black Salt, Coriander Powder, Amchoor, Cumin Seeds, and Chaat Masala.
  • Blend until you get a smooth Chutney.

 3. Taste & Adjust:

  • Check the seasoning and adjust Salt or Spice as per preference.
  • Coriander Chutney should be tangy, spicy, and fresh!

4. Serve & Store:

  • Transfer the chutney to a bowl or glass jar.
  • Serve fresh or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 – 4 days.
  • Serve with pakoras, samosas, dhoklas, idli, dosa, vada, or any snack.
  • Spread on sandwiches, wraps, or chaat.
  • Use as a side with dal-chawal or parathas.
  • Mix into yogurt for a creamy dip.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days.
  • For longer storage, freeze in an ice tray and use cubes as needed.
