GRANOLA BARS RECIPE | EASY AND NO BAKE GRANOLA BARS

Granola Bars recipe is Vegan, Gluten free and highly nutritious option to satisfy the cravings and hunger strikes. A good source of Unsaturated fats, Polyunsaturated fats, Monounsaturated fats, fibre, protein and super delicious snack. This is no bake granola bars recipe with no added sugar and requires just 6-7 healthy ingredients to make this. I used healthy and fresh dates as a natural sweetener in this granola bars recipe. You can use honey also but this is totally an option to use.
Very easy, quick and simple to make and you can make a batch of these and preserve it for long time.
INGREDIENTS:
- ½ CUP PUMPKIN SEEDS
- ½ CUP SUNFLOWER SEEDS
- ¼ CUP FLAXSEEDS
- 1 CUP ALMONDS
- ½ CUP CASHEWS
- ¼ RAISINS
- 250 grams deseeded DATES
- ½ cup HONEY (optional)
PUMPKIN SEEDS, ALMONDS, SUNFLOWER SEEDS, CASHEWS, FLAXSEEDS, RAISINS
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a pan, roast all the seeds for 1-2 minutes and dry fruits for 3-4 minutes over low heat flame till light golden brown colour appears. Don’t overheat the ingredients or it will taste bitter.
- Roast seeds and dry fruits separately one after the other. Because seeds take lesser time to roast than dry fruits. If you heat all these together, there can be a chance of burning of seeds.
- Turn off the flame and let it cool down for 10 minutes at room temperature.
4. Transfer the roasted ingredients in a mixer jar to grind.
5. Blend deseeded Dates until they become mushy and then add all the ingredients to the mushy dates and blend again or until everything incorporated well. Spread it on a tray and press the mixture firmly with finger tips or with the help of spatula. Press hard for one minute.
6. Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours. Cut it into beautiful rectangular shaped pieces and enjoy. Store these bars in an air tight container for a week.
