Paneer Bhurji Recipe | Scrambled Indian Cottage Cheese

Homemade Paneer Bhurji Recipe.
Paneer Bhurji is a popular and delicious North Indian recipe made from scrambled paneer (Indian cottage cheese).
Very simple, easy and delicious paneer recipe similar to egg bhurji and a good option of protein for vegetarians.
Homemade Paneer Bhurji. You can use this paneer bhurji in making Sandwiches and wraps also.

INGREDIENTS:
200 gm Fresh Paneer/ Indian Cottage Cheese (Crumbled) |
2 tsp Cooking Oil or Butter |
½ tsp Cumin Seeds |
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste |
2 large Onions (Chopped) |
1 medium sized Tomato (Chopped) |
1 tsp Turmeric Powder |
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder |
/3 tsp Coriander Powder |
Salt To Taste |
2 tsp Green Chilli (Chopped) |
2 tsp fresh Coriander Leaves (Chopped) |

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Heat oil in pan or kadai on medium flame and add cumin seeds to it. Let it splutter.
- Add chopped onions to it and saute for 3-5 minutes until turns translucent.
- Now add ginger garlic paste and cook it for few minutes until its raw aroma goes away.
- Stir well and reduce the flame to lower.
- Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies and let them cook until tomato becomes soft.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt to taste, coriander powder and mix well.
- Let it cook for a minute.
- Add crumbled paneer and mix well. Cover the pan and cook it for one more minutes on low flame. Don’t over cook it after adding paneer to it.
- Turn off the flame. Add some chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves, lemon wedges, green chillis, sliced onions.
- Serve it hot with roti (Whole wheat bread) and paranthas.
