Veggie Cheela Recipe Given Below…
Weather determines food mood, right? This is cold outside and my taste buds demanded something deep fried .. the pakoras. But I didn’t want to consume so much oil, so instead of making pakora I opted for its healthy alternative and made veggie cheelas to satisfy those pakoras cravings.

Food Styling & Photography Ideas:
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS |

1 Shredded Potato or Juliennes |
1 Shredded Carrots or Juliennes |
1 Onion Sliced |
2 Green Chillies |
4-5 tbsp Chickpea or Gram Flour |
Salt |
Red Chilli Powder |
Coriander Powder |
Roasted Cumin Powder |
Black Salt |
Black Pepper Powder |
METHOD:
- Prepare a batter of chickpea flour and water. Keep the consistency a bit runny. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt and black pepper powder to it. Mix it well.
- Add carrots, onions, potatoes, and green chillies to the batter.
- Heat a non stick pan and pour the batter on it. Give it a round shape and add some oil from the sides. Let it be crisp and flip the cheela to the other side.
- Serve it with any sauce, homemade chutneys or curd.
